Hello, my name is Fabio (or Fabius if you like!) and I'm a tourist guide in Rome. I was born and grown up in this wonderful city and I started this job in 2010 because I like culture and the possibility to stay in contact with people coming from every part of the world. I am a licensed tour guide but also an archaeologist: in fact I have a master in Archaeological Sciences and I continue to collaborate with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome by publishing the new researches we are doing. I have a large experience with private and small group tours, including families with kids and schools. I like to explain every kind of monument or attraction, including museums, churches, parks and panoramas, but I am also a great fan of our typical food tradition and I can deepen this interesting aspect of italian lifestyle! I am a licensed guide in Rome with a degree and an Master in Archeological Sciences. I collaborate with the Archaeological Superintendence of Rome by publishing the new researches we are doing. I have no limitations of any kind and I can access any place of cultural interest and guide you in any of the languages I am proficient in. Even if my calendar shows no availability, feel free to get in touch. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Just to clarify, I only arrange hotel or port pick-up and drop-off through the driver. I will meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Rome is full of beautiful gardens and villas, but if you want to see a truly fascinating villa you can't miss Tivoli! Here we will immerse ourselves in the nature and history of ancient Rome, a perfect combination that I can't wait to let you discover! Tivoli is a little town 18 miles east of Rome, situated at the edge of Apennines Mountains. Nowadays the town still preserves a nice medieval historic centre. The two most important sites in Tivoli are: Villa Adriana, built by roman emperor Hadrian as his official seat. Today it's a wonderful archaeological park where nature matches with amazing roman ruins. This is a Unesco site where you will imagine life at Hadrian's court. Villa d'Este, the residence of cardinal Ippolito d'Este, that was governor of Tivoli in 1500s. This spectacular Renaissance villa has been recently restored and it will surprise you with its wonderful garden, famous all over Europe for majestic fountains and watergames.
-Pick up at your hotel by Mercedes with driver; drive along Via Tiburtina to Tivoli (18 miles east of Rome) -We will meet at the entrance of the Villa Adriana Highlights: Villa Adriana, an incredible archaeological site with 300 acres of grounds The Villa The Palace The Gardens Villa d'Este with its 16th-century fountains The Buildings The order of the visit may change according to time of day and season. On rainy days the water in the fountains is turned off at Villa d'Este. I can customize this tour according to your requests. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different.
