Enjoy two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in one Day! Tivoli is a small city a few miles from Rome, famous because is the only one in the world which can boast two incredible UNESCO world heritage sites: Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este! Visit with an architect Villa Adriana, built by the Emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the 2nd century AD, a sumptuous complex of over 30 buildings, covering an area of more than 100 hectares (about 250 acres), of which most of it has not yet been excavated. . . Enjoy a delicious lunch break in a typical restaurant (with an amazing location!) and with a jump of over a thousand years, reach Villa d'Este, a gem of the Italian Renaissance, built in the XVI century by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este. As an expert in landscaping architecture I'll guide you through its breathtaking gardens, an imposing concentration of fountains, grottoes and water features, that became a prototype for all the most sumptuous estates in Europe.

- Pick up at your accomodation in Rome City centre (within Aurelian walls) - Villa Adriana in Tivoli: the Imperial Palace, the Hall of Philosophers, the Maritime Theatre, the small and large spas and the Canopus - Lunch in a great local Restaurant (with an outstanding view!) - Villa d'Este in Tivoli: the Palace, the Grand Loggia, the Vialone, the Ovato Fountain, the One-hundred Fountains, the Rometta and the Organ Fountain - Drop off in your Hotel in Rome city centre **This tour, as a whole or partially, can be customized to fit your preferences - please inquire! ***if you have mobility issues please let me know in advance so I can better plan our tour!
