Visit with an architect Villa Adriana, built by the Emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the 2nd century AD, a sumptuous complex of over 30 buildings, covering an area of more than 100 hectares (about 250 acres), of which most of it has not yet been excavated. . . Enjoy a delicious lunch break in a typical restaurant (with an amazing location!) and with a jump of over a thousand years, reach Villa d'Este, a gem of the Italian Renaissance, built in the XVI century by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este. As an expert in landscaping architecture I'll guide you through its breathtaking gardens, an imposing concentration of fountains, grottoes and water features, that became a prototype for all the most sumptuous estates in Europe.
