Who am I? For sure a passionate licensed tour guide and leader, but also a foodie, a teacher (humanities and history of art), a photographer and a restless traveller! That's why I love my job so much: I'm in love with Rome and Italy and I feel blessed to have the chance to show the best my country has to offer to my guests, that is people from all around the world! It's like travelling without moving from the The Eternal City! It's not all about art and history that is of course important, but also our culture, customs and traditions, cuisine and much more! I'm looking forward to welcome you to Rome and introduce you to the city treasures: a mix of highlights and hidden gems, but also give you tons of tips about the best restaurants, bars, deli and local shops, night life, Italian authentic recipes and last but not least the best photo spots! It's really hard to describe myself in a few words. I am above all curious: of people, cultures, music, arts, architecture, photography, politics, design, cinema, environmental and social problems, wine and spirits, cuisine, politics. . . Everything! Do you think all this is too much? Maybe, but that's me! I was born in Vinci, in the heart of Tuscany, nearby Florence. . . do you know Leonardo's place? Unfortunately he's much bigger and famous than me! I have an old dusty degree in History of Art and Cinema and I have been living in Rome for almost 17 years! I'm here lead you to discover the "Italian way". I come from Florence-Tuscany and I deeply know my whole country! Working with happy tourists since 2007! I do love customising my tours according to my guests needs and requests, so. . . feel free to ask! Not only: I'm happy to satisfy all your curiosity! Ask me everything you can think of, from cultural questions to those more silly! From night life to the best/cheapest/more expensive/alternative places to eat/drink, night life places, venues or to Italian Language tips or the most famous proverbs. Moreover, I am also a photographer with a deep interest in street and portraits and an event organiser (proposals, wedding, private events, concerts and international film fest). I am also a great cook (people say) and food lover, thus I can teach you! Finally, I'm a restless traveller. Travel and talk to people in my opinion are fundamental to grow as a human being. That's why I'm always happy to meet all my guests! I'm super social and easy going and I've always loved to make new friends and be helpful to people either with simple info or helping them in various ways. I think I'm also pretty empathetic. Join me on a tour or tell me your needs and I'll be happy to organise the perfect experience for you. In ROME or ITALY, especially Tuscany where I come from! THANKS * Licensed Italian Tour Guide * Licensed Vatican Museums Tour Guide * Official Italian Tour Leader * Official Spanish Tour guide and Leader * Authorized Pass for Civitavecchia Harbour (Rome's port for cruise boats) I am not a driver but I will be more than happy to arrange for a private car/van/golf cart with driver for you.
