Hello! My name is Giuliano, I was born and raised in the Eternal City and I am a licensed guide since 2015. As an archaeologist, I've spent my life studying the districts and the history of Rome. My aim is to engage children, young people and people with diverse abilities in artistic projects. To make history accessible, exciting and relevant for all. I love working as a guide of Rome because every day I can see my city through the eyes of my travellers and also because my passion for our food and traditions allows me to give to my guests special experiences! Let me tell you why you should visit Rome. . . Imagine you're walking in the down town of my city, surrounded by the Great Beauty, you can clearly hear the sound of your steps on the cobblestones, it sounds like music. The Music reminds you that, underground, beneath your feet, there is an immerse ancient city that is sleeping, waiting to be rediscovered. You are turning one of the corners and pops up out of the blue an old column or a ruin. It's been there for ever, but as soon as you see this view, your mind starts flying and it opens up to the Stories of Rome: stories of Love and Death, Slaves and Emperors, Popes and Dicators. And while all those thoughts are becoming real, you realize that, sometimes, in Rome, time and space don't exist, one second is one century. This is the reason why, I think, you should visit Rome, in order to feel, at least for one second, what the eternity feels like. . . I'm ready to customize the tours with my travellers, I can guide you in the most famous places like the Vatican City and the Colosseum as well as the daily trip from Rome with a private Van and English speaking driver. - 2006 Graduated with honor in Archaeology at the University of Rome La Sapienza - 2015 Officially Licensed Guide in Rome - 2016, 2017, 2018 Award for the highest number of 5 star feedback as a guide for one of the most important Agency of Rome - 2019 Advanced Training Course in Museum Education at the MAXXI Museum in Rome - Driving Licence None

PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING THE TOUR TO KNOW THE AVAILABILITY OF TICKETS. I will meet you at the Vatican museums entrance and we will start our Vatican tour from there. Your experience in the Vatican Museums will start with the special skip-the-line access reserved for private tours. I will escort you through the most important Galleries of the Museums, and we will reach the heart of the Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel. The Vatican is a treasure chest despite being the smallest country in the world. The collection of the Museums is the biggest of the world: classic statues, paintings, mosaics displayed in 5 miles of Galleries and 16 Museums; the Sistine Chapel is the festival of renaissance colours made by Michelangelo. This tour is a journey from the fall of the Roman Empire to the contemporary Christian Era of Rome.
