Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. I am passionate about so many things... it is impossible to list them all…. food, books, activities with my 7 years old son, travels and art for sure! Have an idea for a customized tour in Rome or in its surroundings? Don't hesitate to get in touch with me and we'll explore the possibilities together. I am looking forward to welcoming you here in Rome and in the Vatican City! Official licensed guide of Rome. Degree in Art History and specialized on Italian Renaissance Art, I spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. Trust licensed guides and make your trip to Rome an unforgettable experience! Customized tours (full day or half day) with luxury private car and driver If my calendar is full, feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you! If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Overview of your Rome tour

In the middle of the public gardens of Villa Borghese is one of the most renowned art museums in the world, the Borghese Gallery. An important part of the collection was begun by the wealthy Cardinal Scipione (nephew of Pope Paul V) at the beginning of XVII century, he was an avid art collector of Caravaggio's works, and Bernini's first sponsor. The Gallery is particularly rich in ancient Roman, Renaissance, and Baroque art and has the greatest collection of works by Bernini, each of one is a masterpiece like Pluto and Proserpina or Apollo and Daphne. The Borghese Gallery is the perfect place for art lovers to admire art in a beautiful space without big crowds in Rome. While the Vatican Museums are filled with treasures and are a must visit site in the Eternal City, it is also one of the largest and most crowded museums on the planet! But luckily Rome is full of art! Let's find out together!

Natalia is a wonderful guide. She is an excellent communicator who packed so much information into a 2 1/2 hour tour that I'm still thinking about it. Natalia not only gave a tour that was organized and full of information, but she was able to answer every question we had about art in the Gallery, historical questions, the artists themselves, and the history of the Gallery. She is also helpful and friendly, she stayed with us in the pouring rain after the tour and even got us a taxi! She is the best!

Natalia was an outstanding guide for the Borghese Gallery. She had in depth knowledge of all the works and elevated our experience above and beyond what we would have accomplished on our own.

We had a great tour of the Borghese Gallery with Natalia. Her knowledge of history and art is amazing, and she imparted that knowledge in a way that was entertaining and understandable.

This was our third tour with Natalia. I liked it a lot, especially the Bernini statues. My wife was less interested in this tour than the others but went for my sake. Once we saw the most important pieces, I asked Natalie to shorten the tour a bit so we'd have time for an early lunch, and that's what she did. But I know she wanted us too see more! She has a real love for art and the history of the pieces and how they relate to their time. The Borghese Gallery is an excellent venue - compact and uncrowded
