From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Overview of your Rome tour
An unforgettable experience when you wish to see the way the wealthiest and most powerful art collectors of the past exhibited the masterpieces they had commissioned or purchased, in order to generate astonishment in their audience of guests and competitors This art collection was set up by Cardinal Scipione Borghese and became renowned over the centuries in Rome and all over Europe: amongst the unique masterpieces by Raffaello, Tiziano, Caravaggio, Botticelli and Correggio, are also the first marble groups sculpted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Renaissance and Baroque paintings and statues hold the company of ancient Roman statues and mosaics, located in rooms purposely decorated with frescoes and marble floors. The third hour will be spent with an outdoor walk, visiting the gardens. From being young I have always had a great passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it! And inside the Borghese Gallery there is so much of this Art that it is a joy for me to share with this tour

A most wonderful tour. Can’t say enough complementary things about Rosanna. The Borghese Gallery is not to be missed, however having Rosanna there to bring the artwork to life was amazing. A+++ !!! Rosanna made this experience so rich and valuable. She is full of knowledge about art and history and is incredibly engaging — a portion of the gallery was closed for renovation, and we left not missing the closed sections in the least. We all (three adults in our 50's) agree that we cannot imagine how empty the experience would have been, by comparison, if we had just walked through on our own.
