Fabio was an exceptionally friendly guide who took us around Rome for three consecutive days. His incredibly in depth knowledge was only rivalled by his passion. He is full of anecdotes and little ‘surprises’, grownups and teenagers alike remained captivated hours on end. An archaeologist by trade, Fabio demonstrates a genuine connection to the tours, that I doubt many guides could match. We visited the Colosseum on our second day with Fabio. His incredible knowledge about the construction as well as its cultural and historical importance made this a fascinating visit. Equally, his supporting materials really allowed us to understand the ancient Roman world, and what it meant to be a gladiator or spectator. His understanding and knowledge about tiny details were phenomenal and made the tour even more captivating and interesting.

Fabio is very knowledgeable and clearly enthusiastic about Roman history! I don't think we stumped him once. He not only was informative on the stops on our tour, but also everything in between. It is so much more efficient and educational to have an informed guide.
