Ciao! My name is Romina, and I am a licensed guide with a degree in Ancient Greek and Roman archaeology and art history. I was born and raised in Le Marche, a region of central Italy. I graduated from the University of Perugia in 2000 and then moved to Rome for the love of my husband. I started working as an expert guide for school groups at the excavations of Ostia Antica, a place I consider my paradise. This experience led me to become an enthusiastic, qualified guide of Rome. I love art and history, but also food and wine. I adore ancient ruins, walls, and bricks—that’s why Rome is my perfect place. I love its monuments, churches with unexpected art treasures, Baroque squares, museums, and archaeological sites, as well as its narrow streets and lesser-known corners, its gardens, and its more modern neighborhoods. I never get tired of the “Eternal City”; I never stop learning—Rome always has something new to reveal. I would like to share my passion with everyone who wants to experience it. My tours are suitable both for tourists visiting Rome for the first time and for those who have already been here. In addition, if you would like to experience the beautiful surroundings of Rome, I offer tours to Tivoli, ancient Ostia, and the Roman Castles. I am used to working with both groups and private individuals. I am very flexible and friendly with adults and children. All the tours I guide are customizable. Get in touch with me, and let’s talk about it! Qualifications and Experience - Degree in Greek and Roman archaeology and art history, University of Perugia - 5 years of experience as a didactic guide in Ostia Antica - 17 years of experience as an officially licensed guide of Rome and its surroundings. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Rome wasn't built in a day! Yet in one day you can have a great experience in it! I'll show you the beauties of my city and you won't miss the must-see landmarks. Rome is 3000 years old and has a large sized center, full of remarkable attractions. It's not easy to get oriented with little time available. So, I'll help you have a true experience of the eternal city. We'll admire the art of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel and in St Peter's Basilica. We'll see the Pantheon, an amazing 2nd century ancient roman temple, that's still standing almost intact. We'll visit the Colosseum, the icon of ancient Rome, where the gladiator games took place, one of the 7 modern wonders. We'll get to Trevi fountain, a baroque masterpiece where you can toss in a coin to be sure to come back to Rome. If you are spending only one day in Rome and you like walking this tour is perfect for you!
