Ciao! My name is Romina, and I am a licensed guide with a degree in Ancient Greek and Roman archaeology and art history. I was born and raised in Le Marche, a region of central Italy. I graduated from the University of Perugia in 2000 and then moved to Rome for the love of my husband. I started working as an expert guide for school groups at the excavations of Ostia Antica, a place I consider my paradise. This experience led me to become an enthusiastic, qualified guide of Rome. I love art and history, but also food and wine. I adore ancient ruins, walls, and bricks—that’s why Rome is my perfect place. I love its monuments, churches with unexpected art treasures, Baroque squares, museums, and archaeological sites, as well as its narrow streets and lesser-known corners, its gardens, and its more modern neighborhoods. This was the perfect way to get our group of six around the city to see the major sites. Romina was a wonderful guide. She not only provided a ton of historical information but also worked with some physical limitations of individuals in our group to make it a meaningful tour for everyone.
Everything about our day in Rome was perfect. Romina was very helpful through every step starting with planning our day after booking the tour, assisting us to our meeting spot once we arrived in the city and all the way through recommending a fantastic restaurant for dinner-she even made sure we got back safely. She navigated us through the masses of people at each location with ease as well as impeccable expertise sharing her knowledge with great detail. Also, our driver Manfredi was very talented as he was able to safely take us from one destination to another. We were able to see everything on our list and more, including a magnificent view of the city from the top of a hill. Absolutely stunning day, perfect in every way. Highly recommend Romina, she went above and beyond to make sure we had an AMAZING day!!
Romina was a wonderful guide. Our tour by golf cart was perfect to visit as many sights in one day and to avoid many major traffic congestion. Romina communicated precisely and promptly from the moment we arranged the tour. She was also quick to modify the itinerary to delete where we had already visited and add other points of interest. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and use of pictures made the tour come alive. Quite an enjoyable day .
