From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Half day Orientation Private Tour with Private Luxury Car and Driver
Overview of your Rome tour
The goal of this tour is to situating you in the city, discovering panoramic views of Rome that you can't see on a simple walking tour, as well as introducing you to its history and arts. I will be happy to answer to your questions about "living and moving" in Rome. I will tailor your route around the archeological site allowing for external views of the Colosseum, the Palatine hill and the Circus Maximus . Then we will stop to the Aventine hill, where you can admire a breathtaking view of Rome. We also pass the Vatican, after crossing the river in front of Castel Sant'Angelo, for a view of St. Peter's Square before continuing up the Janiculum hill with the dome-studded panorama of Rome, and a stop at the second terrace of the famous fountain "Fontanone". The tour will end in the famous Piazza Navona, where we will be able to stroll through the narrow streets of Rome and see the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. We will discover together the stories, the art and the legends of my eternal city!

During Mid-April-June flowering season we can visit the Romantic Rose Garden or what you prefer (upon request). -If you visit the Colosseum or Vatican from the inside you can book my private tours. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair.
