From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Overview of your Rome tour
This tour will make you discover many stories of Ancient Rome! I will tell you fascinating legends and stories about the origin of my city We can start from the Colosseum and visit the most important arena in the world, which hosted the cruel gladiatorial games. We will see the school where the gladiators lived and trained and the place where the emperors watched the shows. After the visit, walking along the ancient ruins of the Roman forums, you reach the center of Rome, Piazza Venezia, dominated by the massive "Vittoriano", the Altare della Patria. The walk will continue to the Pantheon (inside), the only ancient Roman temple still in use today (as a church!) The end of the tour will be at the magnificent Trevi fountain where we will be able to toss a coin that will ensure a second visit to Rome

-Walking Tour -The Pantheon dress code is strict and requires shoulders & knees to be covered. Low-cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts & hats for men aren't allowed. -Only small bags/backpacks (40x35x15) are permitted. -For security reasons, all visitors are to be screened with Metal Detectors. -I suggest bringing a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella
