Since I was a child I loved history and ancient civilizations (it was Indiana Jones' fault!) so I decided to follow my passion by graduating in Roman Archaeology with a specialization in underwater archaeology that I performed in Italian lakes and the Mediterranean Sea. My experiences in the tourism field have started in the year 2012 when I decided, with other partners, to create a Cultural Association, "ArcheologicaMente Roma". The aim was to acquaint the participants of the tours not only with the most important and famous monuments of the city of Rome but, above all, with the many little-known and underground sites, the typical districts, the churches so as to share with them the knowledge and the beauty of places that would otherwise have remained hidden. In 2016 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Council and I began working for international and local companies leading groups, students, and, most of all, individual clients customizing tours according to their interests and needs. Why not share my love for the beauties of my city with people from all over the world? Being roman I love Italian food, so there'll always be time for a typical restaurant or a fantastic gelato! Official licensed guide of Rome Degree in Roman Archaeology and a Postgraduate diploma in Classical Archaeology Customized tours (full day or half day) with luxury private car and driver Even if my calendar shows no availability, feel free to get in touch. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Just to clarify, I only arrange hotel or port pick-up and drop-off through the driver. I will meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

The ancient Romans called the Appian Way 'Regina Viarum' 'The queen of the road' and after two thousand years it is still so. . . It is incredible to think that we'll be able to walk on the same stones where simple people, merchants, soldiers and travelers walked. On both sides of the road are still preserved the funerary monuments of the richest families of Rome and, visiting the Catacombs, we'll descend forty feet underground inside the first cemeteries of Christians, inside tunnels dug by hand and extended for miles. Remember the famous chariot race scene in the movie 'Ben Hur' Well, we'll also visit the imperial villa, magnificent residence of emperors, where the film was shot. Finally we'll arrive at the nearby Parco degli Acquedotti, where hundreds of meters of four ancient aqueducts are still visible; the masterpiece of Roman engineering, that guaranteed the million inhabitants of the city a continuous flow of drinking water starting from springs located more than forty miles away.
Pick you up at your hotel in Rome center by private luxury car with a driver, then we will visit: - Catacombs of St. Callixtus - The Ancient Appian Way - Roman Aqueducts Return to the hotel or wherever you prefer (central Rome) Note: the itinerary may change due to traffic in the city. This tour can be customized to fit your preferences. Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair. ATTENTION: inside the catacombs themselves we'll be joined by the internal guides due to regulations that require management of the tours to be entrusted and supervised only by internal staff. On Wednesday instead of the Catacombs of Saint Callisto we'll visit the Catacombs of Saint Sebastian.
