The Ancient Rome with St Clemente Basilica and Underground Private Tour - Skip the Line Tickets included

Fabio is phenomenal! We did a private tour with him of the Basilica di San Clemente, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum. As a bit of background, the two of us had arrived in Rome just that morning after an ~8 hour flight and were fairly jet lagged. However, Fabio’s incredible knowledge and passion for the historical sites we visited were so energizing that we woke right up and had an unforgettable experience! The literal layers of history at San Clemente were a perfect starting point for our whole Italy trip - a great visualization for the wealth of history often stacked on top of itself (like a “cake” or even as a “lasagna” haha). Of course - the Colosseum was amazing and Fabio was full of fascinating facts for it, even including new discoveries like the gladiator school across the street (connected via tunnel) which is now under excavation. The Forum was stunning and the shocking amount of world history that happened just in a span of a couple miles was truly humbling. We can’t thank Fabio enough for his time and this amazing experience! We highly recommend him and his archaeological expertise, plus he is very fun to be around!!

Great personalized tour with illustrations. I took my kids and friends for the first time but I had visited previously. Fabio's tour was definitely more informative and interesting. Seeing the old church at the end was a nice bonus and a break from the midday sun and crowds. He was able to keep 4 teenagers' attention for 4 hours which is not an easy task. Thank you Fabio for a real treat!

If you visit Rome and need a tour guide, I'd highly recommend Fabio. He is knowledgeable, friendly and well organized. My wife, 12 yr old son and I booked a 4 hour private tour by Fabio in mid Oct, we were blown away by how much value we got. In the colosseum, Fabio vividly described who the ancient Romans built the marvel, how the gladiators trained, fought and entertained the Romans. If we could give Fabio a hundred stars we would! He made this tour so amazing! He was so knowledgeable in every aspect and added so many special touches to the tours! He knew all the amazing local places for food and he was such great company! We hope to use him again some day if we get the chance to return to Rome. Would highly recommend him :)

Fabio was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly informative and explained everything in an engaging way. As well as being a lovely storyteller, he was very charming, personable, and polite in general. Our understanding of Rome would have been very different without him as our tour guide, and we are grateful to have had this outstanding of an experience.
