Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. Overview of your Rome tour
What could be more suggestive than a visit to the Vatican Museums, a treasure trove of incomparable masterpieces inserted in an incomparable architecture seen at sunset and in the evening? If you are in Rome between May and October, on Friday evening I can provide you VIP access to the Vatican Museums after the ordinary closing time. Our walk will start in the Pinecone Courtyard and then we will admire hundreds of sculptures handed down to us from the ancient Romans in the Pius-Clementine Collection. Passing through the Candelabras Gallery, Gallery of Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps I will describe you the history and stories surrounding these incredible art collections. In addition to other masterpieces, we will see one of Raphael's most famous works of art, The School of Athens. After our stop in the Sistine Chapel, still the place of the pope's election, known for its incredible decoration and Michelangelo's frescoes, we will reach other magnificent sections of the Museums until the exit.
