I studied archeology, mainly Roman history and architectures, with a PHD in Middle Age, the medieval castles and churches are my favorite attractions, I have the license to teach History of Art in the high schools, but I always had the passion to show the beauty around me to the ones that are as me full of curiosity. Love to have fun with my clients, what they always say about me is that I am knowledgeable and entertaining, but more than this I love to learn by their comments how even little details can be important to transform a tour into a unforgettable experience. I am a guide in Rome since 10 years, and I am never tired to take guided tours through its amazing attractions. You cannot leave Rome without exploring Testaccio district, close to the city center but far from the crowd, I usually to go there for the best street food in Rome. In this neighborhood you can understand why Rome is considered eternal, the ruins of the ancient port on the Tiber river and the old warehouses are within walking distance of the covered market, and what delicacies can be tasted, surrounded by the voices and colors of the people who live here! Testaccio is now one of the liveliest places in the city, embellished with murals that cover several buildings offering a perfect example of redevelopment. Bars, restaurants, theatres, nightclubs, how many nights I spent here! A few steps from the noises and scents of the market there is the Anglican Cemetery (non-Catholic): suspended in time, silent, it is embellished with statues that remember the love of who is living for their loved ones. Kits and Shelley were buried here, a place of deep beauty celebrates the love of life. We just have to go and see!
- Admire from the top of the walls along the river the ancient ruins of the main harbour of Rome, amazing that they are preserved under the modern structures, - take photoes of the murales than cover the contemporary architectures, the proof of the intellectual life of the district, - explore the covered market and have a taste of the best street food of Rome, - visit the Anglican (Non Catholic ) Cemetery of Rome and reach the tomb of John Keats, one of the most famous English poet who died in Rome.
