Ciao! My name is Romina, and I am a licensed guide with a degree in Ancient Greek and Roman archaeology and art history. I was born and raised in Le Marche, a region of central Italy. I graduated from the University of Perugia in 2000 and then moved to Rome for the love of my husband. I started working as an expert guide for school groups at the excavations of Ostia Antica, a place I consider my paradise. This experience led me to become an enthusiastic, qualified guide of Rome. I love art and history, but also food and wine. I adore ancient ruins, walls, and bricks—that’s why Rome is my perfect place. I love its monuments, churches with unexpected art treasures, Baroque squares, museums, and archaeological sites, as well as its narrow streets and lesser-known corners, its gardens, and its more modern neighborhoods. I never get tired of the “Eternal City”; I never stop learning—Rome always has something new to reveal. I would like to share my passion with everyone who wants to experience it. My tours are suitable both for tourists visiting Rome for the first time and for those who have already been here. In addition, if you would like to experience the beautiful surroundings of Rome, I offer tours to Tivoli, ancient Ostia, and the Roman Castles. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. A relaxing overview of Rome: Fountains and Squares
Overview of your Rome tour
Are you a first-time visitor in Rome? or would you like sightseeing in the city without walking too much? This is your tour! An eco-friendly golf cart will make it easier and faster. While I will give you information about art, history and Rome's urban life , we will see as much as possible. It's going to be fun because the cart is allowed to drive along streets where other means are not. You will be driven along the wide Imperial Forum Street, where normal cars are not allowed, admiring the ruins of the Ancient area up to the Colosseum. We will enter the Colosseum as well, and visit the world's most important arena, which housed the cruel gladiatorial games. Then we'll make our way to the famous and beautiful squares such as Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, by crossing the modern 1600s and 1700s center of the city. We'll have the chance to take pretty streets less known by tourists and We can stop on request for pics or short walk!

The Arena Tickets availability is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different -Please bring a copy of your passport (paper copy or photo on your phone), the tickets are nominal and a copy of your documents must be show.

- Walking Tour - Private golf cart and driver (3 hours) -I suggest bringing a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella -The Pantheon dress code is strict and requires shoulders & knees to be covered. Low-cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts & hats for men aren't allowed. -Only small bags/backpacks (40x35x15) are permitted. -For security reasons, all visitors are to be screened with Metal Detectors. If you are more than six people, please contact me for a customized tour and quotation. NOTE: during the Winter from November to February the latest time to start the tour is 1:00 PM.
