My name is Rosanna and I was born and raised in Rome. Since my childhood I love art, history and travel, so I took tourism at high school. Then I moved to London, Paris and Seville to learn the languages and the culture and traditions of those countries. Back home I started my career as tour manager and I passed the exam issued by the Provincia di Roma to become an official Tourist Guide. I have been working as a guide in Rome for 15 years and I love to show to Italians and foreign visitors the Eternal City. I work with couples, families, groups and I am very glad to tell stories and make people familiar with the Italian art, culture, history and food. Every day is different thank to my guests enthusiasm because they want to see, hear and feel the astonishing art and history of this unique City, and discover the hidden corners. Overview of your Rome tour
We’ll begin our journey at the Basilica of San Clemente, exploring its fascinating layers of history, including the remarkable underground treasures. Next, we’ll admire the Colosseum from the outside and step back in time at the grand Circus Maximus and the historic Theatre of Marcellus. A stroll across Tiber Island offers views of the Synagogue of Rome, and the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo leads us to the majestic St. Peter’s Square. After a brief lunch, we continue through Rome’s iconic piazzas: Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Barberini, and the Quirinale Palace. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, admire Piazza Venezia, and explore Largo Argentina, Piazza Navona, and Campo de' Fiori. Finally, we’ll admire the Pantheon from the outside before a comfortable drop-off at your hotel or accommodation.
