After studying art restoration and archaeology in Rome, I couldn’t bring myself to return to my home country, Switzerland. But not for the reason you might think—I didn’t fall for a Romeo; I fell for the sheer majesty of this city. That passion led me to become an official tour guide of Rome and the Vatican. Even after years spent in the shadow of the Colosseum, my sense of wonder never fades. Every Roman sunset makes me fall in love all over again. The warm, golden light, the ancient monuments, the lively piazzas and fountains that whisper a thousand stories, the breathtaking museums and churches crowned with exquisite domes, and the Tiber, winding past mesmerizing sights—Rome never ceases to amaze me. And let’s not forget the incredible Roman cuisine! My greatest joy is sharing this deep love for the Eternal City with you, so that you, too, will long to return. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

A beautiful walk through Rome. A must for first-time visitors. On this walking tour, you will get to know the city of Rome and its complex and fascinating history. A beautiful and varied introductory city walk through Rome. The tour lasts 4 hours, with a coffee or ice cream break. We will start on the beautiful Navona Square where you can admire the amazing fountain of four rivers of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the most important artists of the Barocan time. From there we will visit the Pantheon a masterpiece of Roman architecture with the biggest dome in the world. In the Pantheon we will meet another very important artist from the Renaissance: Raphael. From there we will walk to Largo Argentina, the so-called cat forum, through the Jewish ghetto where you will learn about the history of the Jewish community in Rome, you will visit the Teatro Marcello from the outside, and from there we will "climb" the most important hill of the city of Rome: the Campidoglio (with an amazing view of the Roman Forum)
Navona Square Pantheon Piazza della Minerva Largo Argentina, a place for cat lovers The Jewish Ghetto The theatre of Marcellus The Porticus of Octavia The Tempel of Apollo Sosiano The Tempel of Bellona The Campidoglio The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests.
