Hello and welcome! First of all I want to thank you for visiting my homepage! Now let me introduce myself! My name is Maria Rosaria and I have been a tour guide of Rome for more than 20 years! When I was in school I studied Latin, Greek and Art history. My Art history teacher was so passionate that he passed all his love for art along to me. At university I studied languages. For example we can visit the Vatican museums with secret places normally closed to regular public like the Bramante staircase and the Niccoline chapel, a unique experience away from the crowds! We can follow in the footsteps of Peter and Paul in Rome by visiting the Mamertine Prison where they were imprisoned, the little church of Domine Quo Vadis on the Appian Way where Peter met Jesus. But also the Abbey of the Three Fountains where Paul was beheaded, without missing the two major basilicas of Saint Peter and Saint Paul Outside the Walls where the two saints, patrons of Rome, are buried. We can visit the archaeological park of the Colosseum with a Full Experience ticket allowing us to see the arena level, the secret passage of the Emperors and the hidden gems of the Palatine hill and of the Roman forum! Too lazy to walk? This amazing tour in a golf cart is just what you are looking for! With your guide and your driver, you will go along the wide via dei Fori Imperiali, closed to traffic, admiring the ruins of the archaeological area of the imperial fora up to the Colosseum. We will enter the Colosseum as well, and visit the world's most important arena, which housed the cruel gladiator games. During the tour, we will see famous places like Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and Trevi Fountain where to respect the tradition you will throw the coin to come back to Rome, and Pantheon the most impressive and copied Roman building, but we also go through places off the beaten track to discover hidden gems of the eternal city like the small church of Santa Maria della Pace with the Sibyls painted by Raphael! We are going to stop for pictures or food tasting or a refreshing gelato and we will end the tour with the breathtaking panoramic view over the whole city!
The tour was great! Maria was very knowledgeable and knew how to move around in the crowds. If we had been on our own we would not have experienced everything that we did. Being on the golf carts was great too. We were taking back alleys to get around the traffic where we would have been stuck if we were in a car. The back streets also gave us a better view of the real city instead of all the store fronts. We loved the guide and tour. We would do it again!

Maria took us on a great golf cart tour through Rome and to multiple sites She is very knowledgeable and had an encyclopedic knowledge of all of Rome! In addition, she is very nice and patient. The driver, Mat, was an amazing driver through the streets packed with cars and motorcycles!
This tour is a must do! The golf cart afforded us to be able to see more sites by covering more ground in a quicker manner. We were also able the get a view perspective because Maria took us to areas that we would not otherwise known about. As the tour unfolded, Maria got to know us better then gave us a perspective she knew we'd be interested in knowing. It was a busy time of year so without the cart, it would have been harder to see all that we saw. Finally, I would recommend Maria hands down as a kind, extremely knowledgeable, and passionate tour guide with more energy than most. I know if you book Maria, you will NOT be disappointed! We will be booking her again when return in 2025. Ciao, ciao!
Maria was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She went at a good pace and got us through the crowds to set up good picture taking locations. I would have given a five star rating except for two issues. We were a party of three and the golf cart had one row facing forward and one row facing to the rear. It was very difficult to sit facing to the rear and to see and hear what was being discussed. There are carts with two passanher rows facing forward. Also the cart was 30 minutes in arriving to the meeting place.
What a great way to see sights in Rome. It was holy week in Rome and the traffic was heavy. We went around Rome so easily with a competent driver . He was always right there when needed. and went through traffic like water. Maria was so knoledgable of all the locations we were able to see much more of the sites we wanted to see. She knew all the answers even about things not on the tour. If you want to see Rome you need Maria.
