Buongiorno! Nice to meet you! I am Abigail, a proud Italian with an English mother and Italian father. I am an Art History expert and I would love to share with you my passion for the two Italian cities I love the most, Venice and Rome! I have studied the history of art and painting in Venice during high school and then graduated with honours in Management of Cultural Tourism. I have always loved art together with travelling and discovering all aspects of culture. During my university career I experienced one year abroad with a scholarship in Spain and also took part in a prestigious internship with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, one of my favourite museums in town. Just after graduation I studied for my tour leader and tour guide licenses and then attended several art history courses in Rome and the UK. Since then I have been sharing the beauty of Venice and Rome with visitors from all over the world. I love meeting people and I hope I will manage to make your day memorable! :) Official Tour Guide License; Official Tour Leader License; Degree with Honours in Management of Cultural Tourism; Venice Peggy Guggenheim Collection Guide; Vatican Museums Authorised Tour Guide; Venice Port Authority License.

I have always been in love with the fountains of Rome. The city used to be called “the city of water” because there were so many of them. Rome never lacked water; in fact, in ancient times there were 11 aqueducts, and today the Virgo aqueduct is still functioning! Let me tell you about the sculptures that bring these incredible works of art to life and reveal the behind-the-scenes stories of their construction.
We will start our tour from Piazza di Spagna, home to the elegant Barcaccia fountain by Bernini. From here, we will walk through the historic center to discover masterpieces that blend art, history, and the city’s vibrant street life. Admire the majestic Trevi Fountain, where cascading waters and dramatic sculptures create one of Rome’s most iconic scenes. After this Dolce Vita setting, we will continue toward Piazza della Rotonda to enjoy the Pantheon fountain, and then head to Piazza Navona, where Bernini’s dynamic fountain of the Four Rivers awaits.
