Ciao everyone, My name is Eleonora, nice to meet you (virtually for now)! I was born just outside Florence, and I have always been fascinated by its marvelous piazzas and its great artists, therefore I decided to study Art History at the University of Florence. I spent a few years immersed in the history of the city, but I also studied the rest of Italy. I travelled all over my country to discover its infinite treasures: from the great inventions of the ancient Romans, to the traces left by the so called barbarians, from the flourishing of medieval towns with their beautiful Cathedrals and town halls, to the birth of the Renaissance followed by the golden age of the Papacy. I have put together the stories of Italy's cities and towns, the lives of the artists and the history of the country, and finally I have weaved the big picture using all these smaller pictures. I have published essays about art and history, but now I do what I like the most: share my knowledge about the beauties of my country with travellers to help them understand what they are seeing. I have been working as a tour guide since 2010 in the two cities that I consider home: Florence and Rome. I have created tours that include some of the "must-sees", but there is always so much more to discover. I would be happy to customize an itinerary for you, according to your needs and desires. My tours are fun, engaging, informative and interactive. You will learn a lot of information and listen to great stories, but all in an easy-going, smiley way! The basic price is the same whether it is for 1 person or 10 people, however for those tours that include a food tasting or entrance tickets, the total price will increase according to the number of people. I am looking forward to walking with you through the streets of Rome to make the City and its art come to life. Ciao for now I am a Licensed Local Tour Guide. I have a Master's degree Cum Laude in Art History from the University of Florence. I also work as a Tour director for various agencies I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver

egin your journey in one of Rome’s most enchanting corners with a visit to Villa Farnesina, a hidden Renaissance jewel nestled in Trastevere. Built for the wealthy banker Agostino Chigi and adorned by Raphael and his circle, this villa offers a rare glimpse into the elegance and ideals of early 16th-century Rome. We’ll admire Raphael’s “Triumph of Galatea”, the mythological scenes of Cupid and Psyche, and explore how classical stories, personal ambition, and artistic genius came together in this extraordinary residence. After this feast for the eyes, we’ll continue with a taste of Trastevere’s culinary soul. Strolling through cobbled lanes and lively piazzas, we’ll stop at select family-run spots to sample local favorites—supplì, Roman-style pizza, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal specialties. Along the way, we’ll blend food with history, discovering how this once-rural district became one of Rome’s most beloved neighborhoods.
We begin with a guided visit to this Renaissance masterpiece in the heart of Trastevere, exploring Raphael’s mythological frescoes and the refined elegance of Agostino Chigi’s villa. • First tasting stop: Cheese & Cured Meats At a traditional shop, we’ll sample a selection of local cheeses and artisanal cured meats • Pasta stop Next, we’ll sit down at a cozy trattoria to enjoy a classic Roman pasta dish—like cacio e pepe, amatriciana, or carbonara—freshly made and full of local flavor. • Final stop: Gelato We end on a sweet note with a stop at one of Trastevere’s best gelaterie, where you can choose from seasonal, handmade flavors.
