Ciao & Welcome to Italy Tours with Mauro! I have been involved in the Tour Industry for over 13 years now and look forward to sharing my Beautiful country, it's food, it's traditions and of course it's values on life with all of you. Before entering into the Tour Industry I had spent 15 years in the area of Italian culinary adventures. I have first hand knowledge to share with each of you regarding the different regions, their food, wines, cheeses and tasty treats on the side like olive oil, balsamic and the art of truffles! Not to mention the best Gelato in each hilltop town inside and out of Rome. I'm originally from the Eastern side of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, a region called Puglia. So I am no stranger to the best beaches, sea food and nature that Italy has to offer as well. I am young, energetic, fun spirited, honest and most of all always on time. Full Day Tour departing and returning to Rome.
Overview of your Rome tour
Your journey begins departing from your hotel in Rome. We will drive past Mount Vesuvius and WWII relics. We will then head towards the gates of Pompei for a tour of the ancient ruins, (tickets and your guide are included). After Pompei we will stop in a Winery for a nice Wine Tasting Lunch. Then we will go to Sorrento and explore the main shopping streets. Afterwards, we'll enjoy driving along the famous Amalfi coast and stopping at grand places to take pictures from the cliff. Before driving back home / time permitting / we will stop at Conca dei marini to visit a famous Capodimonte pottery shop. Then I will drive you back to your hotel in Rome.

Pompeii was the first if two tours we did with Mauro. He was an awesome guide — full of information and really tailored the tour to make sure all three of us had fun and the tour was fully wheelchair accessible. The winery he took us to for lunch was delicious. We are still talking about how awesome the food was!

Mauro is a great guide. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He set up a great lunch and wine tasting for us on the slopes of Mt Vesuvio and a guide in Pompeii. He drove us from Rome to Sorrento with comments on history the whole way. When we got to Sorrento he took us to the hotel to drop our bags and then showed us around Sorrento. He has a very nice Mercedes which was the perfect way to travel. Next time in Italy we will use him again.
