Since I was a child I loved history and ancient civilizations (it was Indiana Jones' fault!) so I decided to follow my passion by graduating in Roman Archaeology with a specialization in underwater archaeology that I performed in Italian lakes and the Mediterranean Sea. My experiences in the tourism field have started in the year 2012 when I decided, with other partners, to create a Cultural Association, "ArcheologicaMente Roma". The aim was to acquaint the participants of the tours not only with the most important and famous monuments of the city of Rome but, above all, with the many little-known and underground sites, the typical districts, the churches so as to share with them the knowledge and the beauty of places that would otherwise have remained hidden. In 2016 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Council and I began working for international and local companies leading groups, students, and, most of all, individual clients customizing tours according to their interests and needs. Why not share my love for the beauties of my city with people from all over the world? Being roman I love Italian food, so there'll always be time for a typical restaurant or a fantastic gelato! Overview of your Rome tour
If you want to see the most fascinating places in my city in just one day, this is a perfect tour! We'll start with Vatican City, the smallest state in the world, but with the most beautiful artworks ever created by men. We'll enter the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel decorated by Michelangelo, and St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world. We'll then visit the historic center with a comfortable golf cart moving through the characteristic alleys of Rome, still as splendid as 500 years ago when they were created, to discover the most beautiful squares of Rome: Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. We can stop on request for a short walk, pictures, a piece of pizza, or a gourmet gelato, or just go ahead with our panoramic tour. At the end of the tour the symbol of Rome: is the Colosseum, the beating heart of ancient Rome where I'll tell you about gladiator fights, wild beasts, and naval battles that ancient Romans loved.
Your Rome tour itinerary
We will visit: Vatican Area (3. 5 hrs) -Vatican Museums - Sistine Chapel -St. Peter's Basilica Private Golf cart tour with driver (3 hrs) -Piazza Navona -Spanish Steps -Pantheon (outside) -Trevi Fountain -Aventine Hill (Orange Garden with a beautiful panoramic spot) -Circus Maximus Archeological Area (1. 5 hr) -Colosseum (inside) -Arch of Constantine -Roman Forum (outside) The itinerary can be customized to your preferences. The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum/Vatican time slot tickets. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents. The Vatican DRESS CODE is strict and requires shoulders and knees covered: low cut or sleeveless clothing, shorts, miniskirts, and hats for men are not allowed.
