I'm a Licensed Roman Guide with a background in Architecture, but, first of all, I'm a traveller like you! I'm able to put myself in your shoes and suggest the best photo spots, since I'm a Travel Photographer as well! With me, you'd be able to discover highlights and hidden gems of Rome; I offer both tours in the city centre and outside of the city walls. My visits are more architecture-oriented, but I like to give a comprehensive overview, from historical insights to food tips. I love admiring narrow lanes while I'm having a gelato! I was born and raised in the Eternal City and, after experiencing life in the UK and in Germany, I'm back to my roots again. After getting a Master's Degree in Architecture, I've realized that the everyday life of an Architect didn't fit neither my expectations nor the artistic and exciting topics I studied at my University. Therefore, step by step, I've moved to the travel field, where I truly belong. In 2014 I inaugurated my Sustainable-Travel and Photography website where I share my reportages with a taste for the unusual, from Rome to the Polar Regions (Arctic and Antarctica)! I love going beyond the surface and capturing the soul of places. This project gave me such good vibes, that I understood that it was time for a change. A couple of years later, I've gained my Tour Guide's license and now I'm here to help you create wonderful memories. Can't wait to share Rome with you! - I hold a Master's Degree in Architecture from "La Sapienza University of Rome", but I have also studied in Germany (Bauhaus Weimar and TU Darmstadt). - I am a licensed guide and I have got both the Vatican and the Colosseum pass. - I have collaborated with Nikon, Lonely Planet and Financial Times! - I have published a travel book in Italian about Antarctica, called Antarktikós I don't offer pick-up by car, but I can arrange an official driver for you, if necessary.

While the most famous attractions of Rome are busy, go off the beaten tracks! On this tour you'll get the chance to cover a magnificent part of Rome's center which is often ignored by tourists. By the Jewish district - where the Roman Jews have been locked for 300 years - we'll be able to visit a great archeological area from 2000 years ago. Among the lanes of the Trastevere neighbourhood, we'll be able to travel back in time, all the way to the Middle Ages. In between all of this, we will visit the stunning Tiber Island, (said to be the world's smallest inhabbited island) walking along the shores of Tiber river, a bond that we lost 150 years ago when embankment walls were built. By using impressive watercolors, pictures and reconstructions, you will discover the vanished Rome with the guidance of a roman Architect. On top of this, if you'd like to, you'll also be able to get some italian gelato right after we finish walking!
-Our tour will start at Piazza Margana, a secret corner of Rome just a few minutes by foot from the former Jewish ghetto. -We will first venture into the Jewish Quarter. Famous for the tormented history of the Roman Jews, this area is also unmissable for archeology (Theatre of Marcellus & Porticus of Octavia), cozy streets and yummy food, like Roman Artichockes and Jewish Pizza. -Afterwards we'll head towards Tiber Island (Isola Tiberina), where you can go downstairs and face the river Tiber. This little piece of land has contributed to the foundation of Rome. -Next, we'll cover Hidden Trastevere: instead of visiting the busy side of the district, we'll go into the most intimate one, on Basilica of Santa Cecilia' side. -On our way there, we'll come across ancient churches, medieval lanes and stories that even locals ignore. -Our tour will finish in Piazza Gioacchino Belli, in front of a fantastic gelateria and a just few minutes walk from great restaurants!
