I'm a Licensed Roman Guide with a background in Architecture, but, first of all, I'm a traveller like you! I'm able to put myself in your shoes and suggest the best photo spots, since I'm a Travel Photographer as well! With me, you'd be able to discover highlights and hidden gems of Rome; I offer both tours in the city centre and outside of the city walls. My visits are more architecture-oriented, but I like to give a comprehensive overview, from historical insights to food tips. I love admiring narrow lanes while I'm having a gelato! I was born and raised in the Eternal City and, after experiencing life in the UK and in Germany, I'm back to my roots again. After getting a Master's Degree in Architecture, I've realized that the everyday life of an Architect didn't fit neither my expectations nor the artistic and exciting topics I studied at my University. Therefore, step by step, I've moved to the travel field, where I truly belong. In 2014 I inaugurated my Sustainable-Travel and Photography website where I share my reportages with a taste for the unusual, from Rome to the Polar Regions (Arctic and Antarctica)! I love going beyond the surface and capturing the soul of places. This project gave me such good vibes, that I understood that it was time for a change. A couple of years later, I've gained my Tour Guide's license and now I'm here to help you create wonderful memories. Can't wait to share Rome with you! - I hold a Master's Degree in Architecture from "La Sapienza University of Rome", but I have also studied in Germany (Bauhaus Weimar and TU Darmstadt). - I am a licensed guide and I have got both the Vatican and the Colosseum pass. - I have collaborated with Nikon, Lonely Planet and Financial Times! - I have published a travel book in Italian about Antarctica, called Antarktikós I don't offer pick-up by car, but I can arrange an official driver for you, if necessary.

Are you into hidden gems? Do you want to discover something modern and stunning with an architect? Coppedé and a stroll in Villa Torlonia are the answer! We are talking about eclectic architectures from the '20's that have many stories to tell. Coppedé is not a proper neighborhood. It's roughly 40 buildings, a few streets, one square and one fountain, so far too small to be defined as a district. This being said, it's huge in its fairytale potential, and rich in decorations and little details. Together we will unveil uncountable symbols of this neighborhood from the 20s, that happens to get its name from its creative architect. Villa Torlonia, on the other hand, is a stunning green area nearby. Its buildings stretch from the 1800 to the half of 1900: the most unique one is "Casina delle Civette" (The House of the Owls). These masterpieces will bring you inside a fairtytale! While the famous highlights of Rome are busy, do yourself a favor and explore quiet areas!
-We will start our tour meeting in front of "Arco dei Palazzi degli Ambasciatori", the monumental entrance to Coppedé. -We will then begin exploring Coppedé district. Starting from the Fountain of the Frogs, we'll discover the best of the neighborhood: ·Villa of the Fairies ·Villa of the Spider ·Villino Cabiria. Most of them are private houses, embassies or studios. -Afterwards, we will reach Villa Torlonia park, a relaxing green area where mostly only the locals go. -Walking by the park, we will come across other eclectic hidden gems to admire by the outside: "Casina delle Civette" (The House of the Owls) and the Moorish Greenhouse. -We will see neoclassical buildings too, including the so-called Casino Nobile -where Mussolini used to live- and the temple of Saturn, that draws inspiration from ancient Rome. -At the end of the tour, if you wish, you could enjoy a tasty lemonade in the park! This itinerary can be customized to best meet your preferences.
