Ciao everyone! My name is Natalia and I am 100% Roman, born and grew up in this wonderful and vibrant city, in a neighborhood close to the Vatican area where I live with my family. Since I completed the high school I decided to concentrate my studies to the art and archaeology. After my degree in Art History I specialized on Italian Renaissance Art and spent some years of working as museum educator in ancient Roman sites and museums like the Borghese Gallery. In 2008 I began working as tour coordinator for big companies, and in 2010 I passed the examination and got the tourist guide license issued by the Roman Tourism Board/Council. I like arranging and doing personalized tours for groups and schools from Italy and different countries, but mainly for individual clients tailoring every part according to their needs. Often my guests are families or the not-so-youthful travelers, and I really like sharing with them my favorite corners, where to find secret treasures or also family-run restaurants or the best gelato places. What a treasure Natalia is! An enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with a passion for her home. We were a small group of 3 and each of us had slightly different interests. Natalia was able to answer all our questions - those very few she wasn't sure of she fact checked before answering. Natalia, and Golf Cart Driver Claudio (sp?) were awesome! Natalia was able to not just show ruins, but explain the significance and paint a picture of what it was like a long time ago. She also was able to convey the politics of the day. Claudio was an excellent driver, which is needed in Rome. What made the tour especially excellent was that they were able to have fun. I am sure there are others with a lot of knowledge, but few can make it as enjoyable as they did. Highly recommend them.

Generally in all the Roman historical monuments and churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items(e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas).
