I am an Expat from the United States, I have been blessed to live and guide through this beautiful country called Italy for the past 22 years. My first love and city mastered was the Eternal City of Rome, where I have lived and taught an English Master's program at UET. The University of European Tourism is located outside the Papal walls of Vatican City. I enjoyed teaching and being around the students very much, their youth is contagious. As I've traveled around the entire country, I've discovered the beauty in each region, as well as the wine and culinary wonders. My guiding experience is throughout Italy's Regions, as a National Driver Guide. My areas of expertise include the hillside medieval towns that are nestled in-between the Apennine Mountains. During my tours, I explain the history of Italy and make certain that you have the opportunity to experience all of the local monuments, as well as the iconic art and historical culture. My guiding is based on the TRUE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE. The Slow Food Movement, which they call the zero kilometer touring started in Italy because of how the food is prepared and my tours will take you to taste it all, fresh cheese, the award winning wines and truffle pasta. . . not to mention the limoncello in Sorrento after a day in Pompei. I have been blessed with a gift when it comes to guiding children and the disabled throughout this country. Nothing is a challenge for me and I enjoy seeing each of these places with people who thought they would never get there, life is meant to be lived! My husband and I had a fantastic tour with Caron today. We initially went to a lovely family run vineyard as scheduled in the Frascati region. We had an appointment with another vineyard in the same region but when Caron noticed we were knowledgeable about wine she decided to drive an extra plus hour to Orvieto to experience another type of wine in a different region. Caron is very personable and enjoyable to be with as a tour guide. I highly recommend her!
This was a highlight of our trip. Caron and her husband were great tour guides and we had a fabulous time. The wines were great and their attention to what would make our tour better was greatly appreciated. I would love to go back and do other tours with Caron!

Today was a wow day. She turned a tour to winery into a magical day by changing the lunch venue. This was our second tour with Caron and her thoughtfulness, and quick decision making to eliminate a crowded situation Saved the day. Outstanding lunch! We strongly recommend Caron and plan to use her talents on our next visit.
