From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Art History graduate from Università La Sapienza di Roma Licensed tour guide of Rome If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone

There is no better way to comprehend the hundreds of years of history of this fascinating city than walking through its streets and squares. There are so many stories of the past and present for you to discover, together with lots of historical information. If you will follow me in this walking tour I will let you discover all the secrets, anecdotes and stories that revolve around the main monuments of the Eternal City! The view of the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain make us forget we are in an Ancient Roman district, developed under the growing power of Octavian in the last two decades of the I century B. C. Passing by Marcus Aurelius' Column we see the amazing development the ancient architecture achieved and two blocks further, we move towards the amazing Baroque masterpiece by Bernini: the Four River Fountain. This is Rome: an open-air museum where fountains themselves are works of art or where its churches, such as the Pantheon show the largest dome in Europe in one piece of Roman concrete.
Discover the Fountains and Squares of Rome with me: Spanish Steps Spanish Square Fountain of the Barcaccia Vicolo del Nazareno Stamperia Trevi Fountain Galleria Sordi Colonna Square Piazza di Pietra Sant'Ignazio Pantheon The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests In the museums, in the archaeological sites and in general in all the Roman churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas…) on tour because they are not permitted.
