Ciao & Welcome to Italy Tours with Mauro! I have been involved in the Tour Industry for over 13 years now and look forward to sharing my Beautiful country, it's food, it's traditions and of course it's values on life with all of you. Before entering into the Tour Industry I had spent 15 years in the area of Italian culinary adventures. I have first hand knowledge to share with each of you regarding the different regions, their food, wines, cheeses and tasty treats on the side like olive oil, balsamic and the art of truffles! Not to mention the best Gelato in each hilltop town inside and out of Rome. I'm originally from the Eastern side of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, a region called Puglia. So I am no stranger to the best beaches, sea food and nature that Italy has to offer as well. I am young, energetic, fun spirited, honest and most of all always on time. Overview of your Rome tour
This tour will take you on a culinary journey through the real Italy, with one of our best chefs! You will start doing shopping in one of the oldest Roman market, Campo de Fiori, choosing fresh ingredients to use in your cooking class while enjoying cooking alongside others. Then you will start preparing your meal, making homemade pasta such as ravioli or fettuccine and preparing other dishes under the guidance of your personal chef in order to produce a full meal. You will cook inside a private apartment, in the heart of the Eternal City. At the end of the course, you will enjoy the dishes you've created and you will drink the wine your chef has selected to make your lunch perfect. Today you won't be a tourist, but a true traveler immersed in authentic Roman culture!!!! Your lesson includes 3 types of pasta, main course, dessert and a selection of wine and soft drinks. After the tour you will walk to Fatamorgana Gelateria, where you can take a sweet gelato! Come cook and eat excellent food!
