I still remember the first time I saw ancient statues, I was in the Vatican Museum and I was a child. Those marble giants were not just silent witness of their time but it seemed like I could hear their voices talking to me from the past. Was it that a decisive moment in my life? Probably it was! I graduated in Art History at Rome University and while waiting to find a "real" job I started to work as a guide and, little by little, it became my job! I've been a tourist guide since then which means …. a bit! I enjoy what I do and statues haven't stop whispering their stories to me, that, together with studies and experience, enables me to explain to you things about Rome and its history in a way you could not imagine. If we'll meet in Roma I'm ready to show you my Roma and share my knowledge with you! From the Vatican, to the Colosseum, passing through the Borghese Gallery, Caravaggio, Trastevere, Jewish Ghetto and amazing Italian food and wine, I am at your service and I love answering my guests questions and I can customize my tours for your needs. You're in good hands with me, and I look forward to meeting you! Are you ready to follow me? Ciao a tutti! Hi everybody! I live and work in Roma as a tourist guide: - Art History graduated (Tor Vergata University) - Licensed tour guide of Roma -I can prepare for you customized tours (full day or half day) with luxury private car and driver If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Walking across Tiber Island, we reach Trastevere on the right bank of the Tiber. Trastevere developed as an area for merchants, sailors, fishermen and foreigners. It maintains its old character: cobbled streets, ancient houses and artisan workshops. This is the perfect place to taste typical Roman food. We visit picturesque food shops and talk with the owners. Thanks to anecdotes and old pictures we have the occasion to discover another aspect of the city. We stop in an artisan bakery, Innocenti, where you can find tasty cookies and traditional cakes. We visit Antica Caciara, a historical shop where shepherds used to bring their "caci" (cheese). There we taste different varieties of Italian cheese, prosciutto, and salami. And what about a stop for a gourmet gelato made only with the freshest ingredients? Walking along, exploring the area, and tasting different foods, we reach the award-winning Bistrot il Maritozzo Rosso where we sample traditional pasta and savory maritozzi.
Biscottificio Innocenti (traditional cookies) Supplì (pizza and supplì) Antica Caciara food shop (cheeses and cold cuts) Maritozzo Rosso restaurant (carbonara, cacio e pepe or amatriciana tasting) Basilica of St. Maria in Trastevere Artisanal ice cream The tasting includes: 1 supplì or 1 slice of pizza, 1 ice cream, 1 pasta dish, 1 drink per person, cheese tasting, cookie tasting. If you have any dietary restrictions please let me know. The itinerary can be customized to your preferences and changed according to the opening hours of the shops. Please note: generally the dress code in all Roman churches for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas) or glass bottles.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
