My name is Rosanna and I was born and raised in Rome. Since my childhood I love art, history and travel, so I took tourism at high school. Then I moved to London, Paris and Seville to learn the languages and the culture and traditions of those countries. Back home I started my career as tour manager and I passed the exam issued by the Provincia di Roma to become an official Tourist Guide. I have been working as a guide in Rome for 15 years and I love to show to Italians and foreign visitors the Eternal City. I work with couples, families, groups and I am very glad to tell stories and make people familiar with the Italian art, culture, history and food. Every day is different thank to my guests enthusiasm because they want to see, hear and feel the astonishing art and history of this unique City, and discover the hidden corners. I can offer tailor-made tours in Rome with golf cars, van, bicycles and I would love to show you the surrounding villages such as Tivoli, Ostia Antica and the Roman Castles. Squares and fountains: the marvel of Rome
Overview of your Rome tour
This tour is a stroll along the most famous sites of Rome: Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Navona square and many other hidden gems. This is the best opportunity to get started with the roman life, having a taste of the history of the Eternal City. I think that any monument, any corner, any site in Rome has a story to tell, and that I as tour guide can to bring the past back to life and I love it! The walk will start at Spanish Steps where, we will admire the famous Barcaccia Fountain (wonder why this name?) just in front of the marvellous staircase. Passing by Valentino's headquarters, will head to the Trevi Fountain, one of the icons of Rome to toss the coin and ensure your return to Rome. A short walk (or a long gelato-stop, in you like) will take us to the Pantheon, the ancient roman temple dedicated to all Gods where will admire its stunning dome. The last stop will be at Rome most beautiful square, Piazza Navona, and we'll finish with a gossip about the Fountain of the Four Rivers.

The itinerary can be customized. Generally in all the Roman historical monuments and churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents.

Walking Tour. -I suggest bringing a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes. -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -Only small bags/backpacks (40x35x15) are permitted. -For security reasons, all visitors are to be screened with Metal Detectors.
