Hello! My name is Yevgen (Yev), and I would be delighted to welcome you to Rome. I was born in Kyiv and moved to Rome at the age of twenty. Half of my life has been spent in this extraordinary city, which I now proudly call home. Here, I completed high school, earned my degree in Art History, and became a licensed tour guide. During my university years, I had the privilege of interning at the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, two of the most important archaeological sites in the world. That experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of ancient Rome and its remarkable heritage. I was also selected to guide visitors through the Palace of the President of Italy, the heart of the Italian Republic, where I gained a solid foundation in the history of Italy and its institutions. After many years of passionate study of Italian history, archaeology, and art, I am excited to share my knowledge and my love for the Eternal City with you. WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE TOGETHER Ancient Rome • The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill • The Ancient Appian Way, the Roman Aqueducts, and the early Christian catacombs Vatican City • The Vatican Museums • The Sistine Chapel • St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square. Most Iconic Roman Neighborhoods A stroll through Rome’s most atmospheric districts, discovering their famous landmarks along the way: • The Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, The Pantheon, Piazza Navona with the Baroque masterpieces of Bernini and Borromini; • The Old Jewish Quarter, with its rich and often challenging history and Trastevere, with its medieval alleys and authentic Roman atmosphere Christian Rome A journey through the city’s most important basilicas and early Christian heritage: Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, and San Paolo fuori le mura. Day Trips Beyond Rome If you’d like to venture outside the city, I can arrange unforgettable visits to Hadrian’s Villa, the vast countryside retreat of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and Villa d’Este, with its lush Renaissance gardens and spectacular fountains. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Tivoli, just an hour from Rome. A COMPLETE ROMAN EXPERIENCE During my tours, I’m always happy to recommend excellent restaurants serving authentic Roman and Italian cuisine, the best places to enjoy real Italian gelato, and local cafés, wine bars, and hidden spots loved by Romans. FOR FAMILIES AND ACCESSIBILITY I love working with children and making history fun and engaging for them. All itineraries can be adapted for guests with reduced mobility to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. WHY CHOOSE MY TOURS • Licensed Tour Guide in Rome • Accredited Guide in the Vatican Museums • Licensed Tour Leader • MA Degree (summa cum laude) in History of Art, Roma Tre University • BA Degree (summa cum laude) in History and Conservation of Artistic Heritage, Roma Tre University • High School Diploma in Tourism, Leonardo da Vinci High School, Rome • Special training and guided visits at the Palace of the President of Italy • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) And above all, a warm and personal approach, ideal for families, couples, and private tours. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.
