Where everything started: 'All roads lead to Rome' discovering the ancient Roman Forum since its foundation till nowadays and the Flavian Amphitheater better known as the Colosseum (the biggest in the Roman Empire and one of the modern Seven Wonders) where many shows took place including the most popular ones: the gladiator's fights. We'll visit the Forum, the heart of ancient Rome, the most important place for religious and political reasons and we'll climb Palatine Hill, where Romulus gathered the first settlements creating ROMA. Some years ago I joined some excavations, I was an archeologist too so I can't wait to show you my beloved city!
We'll see : Constantine's Arch Colosseum: first and second ring (Arena Floor optional) Palatine Hill with the massive ruins of the emperor's Palace Breathtaking view over the Roman Forum Arch of Titus (with the famous frieze of the Menorah) Temple of Romulus Temple of Vesta and House of Vestal Virgins Temple of Antoninus Pius and Faustina Temple dedicated to Julius Caesar (the place where he was cremated) The square with the Basilicas Arch of Septimius Severus The Curia (ancient Roman Senate) NOTE: This tour includes the Colosseum Standard Tickets. The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Contact me for a customized itinerary -The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets -Please remember to bring your passport, the ticket is NOMINAL and you must show your ID -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different
