Hi everybody, my name is Marcello. I'm specialized in high grade archeological and historical tours. Born and raised in Naples and belonging to a very old Neapolitan famiIy I've got the official license of Professional Tour Guide in 2000. In 2015 I've got specialization in roman currency as well. I do cooperate with the U. S. Syracuse University, and over the past years, I had interesting experiences while working with some International TV productions as expert in archeology and art. Your Rome tour itinerary
- Meet at your hotel in Rome or agreed point in the city and driving to the Colosseum - We will start our tour visiting the Colosseum and talking about the Gladiator Games in the roman culture - After the Colosseum, in agreement with your wishes/needs, we can get a quick snack and we drive to Pompeii. It takes about two hours with a stop in between for facilities. - Next stop will be in Pompeii where I will take you to visit the Roman city frozen in time by the explosion of Mt. Vesuvius Lunch will be at our arrival or after the tour. Up to you. - After the archeological tour will be time for relaxing, enjoyng some refreshment and then drive back to your hotel in Rome. I don't follow the mass tourism. I've never done it. That is not my idea of touring Pompeii. In winter, I strongly suggest you bring an umbrella and, if possible, comfortable shoe
