Not to mention the best Gelato in each hilltop town inside and out of Rome. I'm originally from the Eastern side of Italy on the Adriatic Sea, a region called Puglia. So I am no stranger to the best beaches, sea food and nature that Italy has to offer as well. I am young, energetic, fun spirited, honest and most of all always on time. Rome is one of the fashion mecca's of the World! It's famous shopping streets are filled with names such as Prada, Armani, Valentino, Missoni, Chanel, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and many other top brands from all over Italy. While Italy is famous for many things such as food, wine, culture, history, the Art's and Catholicism. . . . No one can beat the Italian style that is hand crafted and life lasting. We will start from your pick up location and move around the city with public transportation such as the metro(it's a walking tour so we won't need a car, just our feet). You can enjoy the real Roman life this way, walking /talking and Shopping! We will also enjoy the street shopping areas and hitting the sales along the way at the open air markets. I will help you with your purchases and ensure that you get the best prices. During the tour we can enjoy a coffee/prosecco or our famous gelato in one of the historical place in the center. After the tour I will walk you back to your hotel.

Mauro is a very warm and friendly guide who customised my tour as I was more interested in finding my way around Rome than shopping. I was though interested in where to get the best gelato and restaurants where Italians go to. As an older woman travelling alone it is important to me to feel safe and confident and I certainly became so after a few hours spent out and about with Mauro who is an experienced guide and very easy to talk with. I feel fortunate to have chosen Mauro S to be my guide in Rome.
