Hi, my name is Flavia, I was born and raised in Rome, therefore I'm a true local! I know every corner of this city that I desperately love. I am an official licensed Tour Guide and passionate about sharing the city's most hidden corners through traditional and off the beaten path tours. I graduated in Art History and for years I have been working for a diagnostic laboratory, carrying out scientific researches on paintings and works of art. This is why during my tours it is not unusual to see an X-ray of a painting by Caravaggio or the reconstruction of a painted statue! All I want is to share with you my enthusiasm and passion for my work and for the Eternal City. I love traveling and I know that a touching and unforgettable memory is the best souvenir that you can take away. I can customise my tours according to your requests, so feel free to contact me at any time! •Graduation in Art History at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". •Specialization degree in Diagnostic for Cultural Heritage •Teacher of Art History in high school (years 2014-2017) •Licensed tour guide since 2015, also certified for the Vatican Museums •I have been studying acting for 8 years. If you are looking for something different, perhaps for a special event, I can organize visits with actors or a private concert I am not a driver but I can arrange private transportation with a professional licensed driver. If you don't find the tour you where looking for on my profile, please, feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you!

If you're tired of traditional tours, crowds, and lines, this is the tour for you. Rome is an immense labyrinth, where centuries of history have unfolded over time, leaving traces throughout the city. In some areas, it's still possible to immerse yourself in the past, where time seems to have stood still, the atmosphere is suspended, and the vestiges of Imperial Rome are still impressive. A private driver will accompany you for the entire tour, so physical effort is minimal. Upon request, I can customize the tour according to your needs (i.e. excluding catacombs). N.B.: The tour inside the catacombs will be led by another guide, provided by the site. Some areas are closed to cars, so we need to walk a little. The itinerary may be modified based on the opening hours of the sites.
Pick up by the driver at your hotel, with the guide Direction: Appia way Stops: - Catacumbs (St. Callistus or St. Sebastian, in base on the availability) - Villa and Circus of the emperor Massentius (311 A.D.) - Cecilia Metella Mausoleum, 30-10 B.C. (external view) - Short walking on the ancient Appia Road, 312 B.C. and and explanation of the construction techniques of Roman roads - Transfer to one of the entrances to the city's Aqueduct Park, a short walk, and a photo stop. The park, still beloved by locals, is beautifully framed by the remains of the ancient aqueducts, some parts of which are still incredibly intact. - Return to the hotel
