"We invite one another not barely to eat and drink but to eat and drink together" Plutarch I was born in Rome on the same day of Julius Caesar! I have a Degree and a Master in Art History; as an official Vatican guide I attended many courses by the Holy See concerning their collections and History of the Church. I keep studying and researching about Art. As I became a guide I was the youngest…now I am not the oldest! My work is my passion: every day is a new day and every guest a new guest. I like exploring Rome, wandering trough the town with my clients following their personalities, needs, wishes…. I like creating personalized tours, from the classical visits for "first comers" as literary tours, food tours or …"mood tours" following the inspiration of the day… My goal is to share with you my love for Rome, Art and "slow living" and make you feel at home even if you come from far far away…. Private licensed guide. Degree and a Master in Art History. Official Vatican guide, I attended many courses by the Holy See concerning their collections and History of the Church. I can prepare for you customized tours (full day or half day) with luxury private car and driver If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Forgotten for centuries, the controversial artist is now considered one of the most important painters of any time; he died young in 1610. Just the time to create a limited but unforgettable number of masterpieces. From Milan he moved to Rome and its works are still visible in the churches they were created for, all situated in the district where Caravaggio lived: the area around the Pantheon and Navona square where even today, in the darkeness of the evening or winter we can imagine to meet him. A genial man, who created impressive works using no lines but shadows and dark pigments to emphasize light. San Luigi dei Francesi, Sant'Agostino and Santa Maria del Popolo are the three churches where we can admire his masterpieces. Discover with me Caravaggio and I am sure, you will fall in love with him… we can go on with another tour to the Borghese Gallery were many of his works are preserved.
Discover with me Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, on this itinerary through the streets of the historic center of Rome: •Church of Santa Maria del Popolo •Church of Sant'Agostino: Caravaggio, The Madonna of Pilgrims •Church of San Luigi dei Francesi: Caravaggio, Saint Mathew and the Angel, Saint Mathew's Conversion, The Martyrdom of Saint Mathew •Piazza Navona IMPORTANT: Generally in all the Roman historical monuments and churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below the knees. Do not bring large items(e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas). Churches may not be open to visitors due to religious masses or functions, the guide is not responsible, in which case the guide will explain from outside. Tour Not available on Sunday morning and Thursday afternoon. Start time 9. 00-9. 30 am and from 2. 30 to 3. 30 pm.
