From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Art History graduate from Università La Sapienza di Roma Licensed tour guide of Rome If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone

Museums in Rome are not hard to come by. The Capitoline Museums are along with the Borghese Gallery, and the Vatican Museums, some of the most popular museums in Rome. The Capitoline museums lay claim to being the world's oldest national museums founded in 1471. Made of two buildings facing each other on the impressive Piazza del Campidoglio. The Palazzo dei Conservatori is the main entrance and was once the main location of the city magistrates. The ground floor is still used partly as a municipal register office. Most of the building house sculptures, though there are art galleries on the second floor. The most famous single exhibit is the "She Wolf", a major symbol of Rome. The collections are closely linked to the city of Rome, and most of the exhibits come from the city itself. If you want to get to know the heart and history of the Eternal City this is one of the tours that I recommend you not to miss! Are you ready? Let's go!
