I am an Expat from the United States, I have been blessed to live and guide through this beautiful country called Italy for the past 22 years. My first love and city mastered was the Eternal City of Rome, where I have lived and taught an English Master's program at UET. The University of European Tourism is located outside the Papal walls of Vatican City. I enjoyed teaching and being around the students very much, their youth is contagious. As I've traveled around the entire country, I've discovered the beauty in each region, as well as the wine and culinary wonders. My guiding experience is throughout Italy's Regions, as a National Driver Guide. My areas of expertise include the hillside medieval towns that are nestled in-between the Apennine Mountains. During my tours, I explain the history of Italy and make certain that you have the opportunity to experience all of the local monuments, as well as the iconic art and historical culture. My guiding is based on the TRUE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE. The Slow Food Movement, which they call the zero kilometer touring started in Italy because of how the food is prepared and my tours will take you to taste it all, fresh cheese, the award winning wines and truffle pasta. . . not to mention the limoncello in Sorrento after a day in Pompei. I have been blessed with a gift when it comes to guiding children and the disabled throughout this country. Nothing is a challenge for me and I enjoy seeing each of these places with people who thought they would never get there, life is meant to be lived! Overview of your Rome tour

In Florence: Starting from the Port of Livorno this comprehensive excursion begins with a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside from Livorno to the historic town of Pisa. Here, you'll make a brief photo stop by Campo dei Miracoli, or Miracle Square. Marvel at the exterior of the Campanile, better known as the Leaning Tower. This remarkable structure is Pisa's greatest attraction. Re-board your van and continue on to the fascinating city of Florence. In Naples: Your journey into the past begins as you depart from the Maritime Station. Passing Mount Vesuvius, as you drive to the Amalfi Coast we will stop at Pompei to visit the famous ruins before heading over to admire the dolomite cliffs, towering straight up out of the sea, and typical villages, which have characterized Sorrento's Peninsula for many centuries. In Rome:With only one day in Rome, one obviously has to select carefully among the city's endless attractions. The sights included in this tour are considered to be among the most important!!!

9 of us toured with Caron during a 3 day multi port cruise pack & she made our experience epic! To say she became a part of our family would be an understatement. In 3 days we experienced Pompeii, A beautiful winery on Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Rome, Pisa & Tuscany! She was Unbelievable with our 7 yr old son who was the Only kid there. She Made a trip that could have been boring at times for a child into an experience he will remember forever! There were tears when we left & a new passion in us for Italy!

I'm spite of severe rain and hail, Caron valiantly led our family group on a tour. It was such a special day!!! The following day she sat with us for hours helping us to find flight tickets when they were almost impossible to get. We cannot thank Caron enough for being the VERY BEST and through it all, we hold her dear as a friend. I will recommend her to everyone I come in contact with who is travelling to Italy.

Caron made our two day tour one for the memory books. She was engaging with our children and really made them fall in love with Italy. She was able to encorporate site seeing, historical facts, children's activities, and relaxing times all in a short time. She had everything planned and the transportation went seemleasly. She also was able to adapt when things took a bit longer than expected at one point. Caron was very responsive to messages. It was a blessing to have been on this tour with her!

WOW! This felt like a visit with family more than a tour. Caron took us all over and made sure we enjoyed ourselves at every turn. - Florence: See the Piazza del Duomo, the religious center of Florence in front of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Called "il duomo, " it is the fourth largest church in the world and was begun in 1296 and took 173 years to complete. The side of the Baptistery facing the Duomo has gilded bronze doors declared by Michelangelo as worthy of being the "gates of paradise. " Sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti labored more than 50 years on this incredible project. In the Piazza della Signoria view a copy of the "David" and the Loggia dei Lanzi, along with original sculptures. After lunch, you will visit Santa Croce, one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in Italy. See Donatello's Annunciation, Giotto's Death of St. Francis and the tomb of Michelangelo. When entering the Vatican you will be with a Certified Vatican guide, not personally with me as the Vatican is in another country and requires a different guide licence. Other: Personal expenses. Lunch in Rome and Florence (reservations made for your group but cost not included in the package). Uffizi Gallery or any of the sites in Pisa (the Leaning Tower or Cathedral). These tickets can be added and pre purchased for your group with ample advanced notice. Pizza lunch at the Farm can be arranged for an additional 5 Euros per persona and you can have a cooking experience where you and your family members can make your own pizza's in a brick over outdoor environment overlooking the Bay of Naples.
