For the last 15 years, I have been fortunate and honoured to present the treasures of the Eternal City to many tourists through my tours of this enchanting city. Rome continues to inspire me with its unique charm, its wealth of monuments, and especially the lesser-known attractions that are not on the main touristic paths. I always feel thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and joy in my guests’ eyes at the end of our tours! In the future, I intend to provide not only the traditional and most famous tours of the Colosseum, the Ancient Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel but also lesser-known routes, particularly for travellers who have visited the city multiple times. These will include places like the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, Colonna Gallery, and the Capitoline Museums, as well as Christian-related itineraries and some less touristy Roman neighbourhoods and charming small towns like Palestrina. If my calendar appears unavailable, please contact me anyway. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port via the driver. I’ll meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Step into the past on this fascinating shore excursion along the Appian Way, one of Rome’s oldest and most important roads. This ancient path, connecting Rome to the south of Italy, is rich with history, offering a glimpse into the Roman Empire’s grandeur. As we walk, you’ll see well-preserved sections of the original paving and discover the remnants of ancient tombs, funeral monuments, and suburban villas that line the road. We'll explore a remarkable stretch of the Aurelian Walls and venture into the captivating catacombs, early Christian cemeteries featuring miles of tunnels adorned with ancient symbols. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, this tour offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the ancient world, discovering the history and culture that shaped Rome
Walking along the Via Appia Antica is a refreshing change from the city. In ancient Roman times, burials within the walls of the city were forbidden. While pagan Romans were cremated, Christians preferred to be buried. Highlights: - Aurelian Walls 271-277 A. D. - Saint Sebastian Gate - Catacombs of St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian - The Ancient Appian Way with the original paving - Villa of Maxentius and The Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella (closed on Mondays), if they are closed will see the Roman Aqueducts The itinerary can be customized according to your requests -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair. ATTENTION: -Inside the catacombs themselves we will be joined by the internal guides due to regulations that require management of the tours to be entrusted and supervised only by internal staff. - On Wednesday instead of the Catacombs of Saint Callisto we will visit the Catacombs of Santa Domitilla.
