I'm a licenzed tour leader who has been doing this work for more than ten years all over Sicily. I attended the University where I studied history, archeology, art and folk traditions. I have travelled extensively in Sicily knowing most of the cultural heritage, this is the reason why I have chosen as a goal in my life to spread the sicilian culture, which is among the richest in Italy. For that reason I created a cultural association that is involved in promoting events and in the urban redevelopment of an area of the Palermo's city rich in cultivation in an effort to develop turistic activities. Discovering Cefalù and its territory is an opportunity to see a unique part of Sicily. Perched between the sea and the Madonie Mountains, it rises beneath a rock of rare beauty that conceals ruins of a remote past. The city is among the most visited places in Sicily for the splendid sea and history, it developed in the Middle Ages thanks to the Norman people who built the cathedral, which is in a UNESCO heritage site, in the Arab-Norman style and the settlement. The town is also famous for its excellent restaurants equipped with terraces overlooking the sea, where you can eat excellent fish. A short distance away in the town of Castelbuono there is an opportunity to see an ancient Sicily made of narrow streets, monuments such as the medieval castle and the flavors of food produced by local companies very famous throughout Sicily. I have been walking these places since I was a boy, and I am sure you will see a fascinating face of Sicily.
