Mimmo was terrific. He is very knowledgeable about the history, which was a major interest of ours. He was also refreshingly candid about what scholars actually know and what they surmise. He was also a great travel companion as we saw him almost every day for two weeks. Great lunches at various restaurants that we would not ordinarily have visited. In addition, he arranged a visit at a local winery and a spectacular lunch with a sommelier for an in depth explanation of local wines and grapes. She is also a terrific cook. All in all we had a wonderful trip and Mimmo really contributed to making it special.

Mimmo was an outstanding guide. Over a 6 day period, he guided us to and through all significant sites throughout Sicily . He adapted the tours to accommodate the separate requirements of my wife and me. When weather became an obstacle to our visit to Mt. Etna, he took us to an excellent substitute location. My wife and I highly recommend Mimmo to tour any part or all of Sicily.

Mimeo, is a wonderful and very personable guide whose knowledge of his island of Sicily is extensive. This is the second time we have used Mimmo and he both our times in Sicily very memorable.

Mimmo is a guide who's knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, and a safe driver. He got to know our preferences, then planned for and anticipated ways to make our 6 days together even more enjoyable. He did not try to oversell the various sights but instead let us soak in and formulate our own opinions. He timed his words appropriately. For example we heard another guide using suoerlatives to describe everything. Mimmo was honest and forthright. His commentary was well appreciated. We highly recommend him.

Mimmo is the best guide we've ever had! He was instrumental in helping us set up our 2wk itinerary in Sicily.He curated our schedules helping us to prioritize which cities we visited and which sights were most important to tour. It was a great advantage that Mimmo was both guide and driver and this added continuity to the trip.
