Welcome! My name is Catia. I'm of Venetian origins, but have been a resident in Milan for many years. I obtained degree in Art History (with Honours) at University Ca' Foscari VENICE. After that, I moved to Milan and got a Tour Guide license in 2014. I am now a registered Tour Guide in Milan and Venice. I also studied English for 5 years at the British Council Institution (C1 level from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I'm specialized in Renaissance history, mostly Leonardo, Rafael and Venetian painters, but I have also attended many workshops dedicated to different topics about Milan, from gastronomy, to art and history. I have studies in Religious Tourism too. I actually continue to study for my job, attending trainings at University or other schools, for I believe learning is a never ending process. I long to remain up to date about my city and its changes, as well as of its traditions and cultural events to offer the best experience to visitors, regularly thinking of new routes to explore. Although my job is my main passion, my second greatest passion is theatre. I am also very passionate about travelling, which I have been fortunate to do, approaching it with curiosity and learning about new cultures and traditions. That's part of why I love this city, capital of finance, fashion and design but at the same time with many cultural opportunities to seize. I'd like to invite you to explore the highlights of Milan with me, discovering its rich history and many marvels, from hidden gems to museums and temporary expositions the city organizes, dedicated to painters, photographers or artists in general. If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Begin the tour at the Sforza Castle, the former residence of the powerful Sforza family. Explore its museums and admire priceless artworks, including Michelangelo’s Pietà Rondanini, his final, unfinished masterpiece. Next, visit the iconic Duomo di Milano, a Gothic marvel adorned with intricate spires and statues. Step inside to admire its stunning stained glass windows, monumental columns, and the breathtaking view from the terraces (optional). Conclude at the Church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, often called the "Sistine Chapel of Milan" for its spectacular Renaissance frescoes by Bernardino Luini. This tour offers a perfect blend of history, art, and spirituality, unveiling Milan’s rich cultural heritage through its most treasured landmarks.
