Is the Duomo a Cathedral built on behalf of the devil? People say the devil appeared before the Duke and forced him to built a cathedral in his name. Is the Capricorn on the wall a mere zodiac sign, being part of the Duomo sundial? One of the most suggestive ossuary in Italy is inside the Church of San Bernardino alle Ossa in the centre of Milan, just few minutes away from Duomo square. the Ossuary was built to move the remains from Milan Hospital cemetery. When the church collapsed because of a fire, the ossuary was re-built and its walls decorated with bones, who form geometrical shapes, crosses and so on. People say that on Oct 31st the bones of a child sneak out and start dancing. If you pass by, you can hear creepy noises!
