Overview of your Jerusalem tour

The tour will begin with a pleasant drive to Jerusalem in a comfortable vehicle with A/C. At Mt. Scopus, the tour stops for a panoramic view across the city rooftops. Then drive towards the Old City passing biblical sites like the Garden of Gethsemane that stands on the Mount of Olives alongside the Church of All Nations. Also, spot the ancient Jewish tombs in Kidron Valley, and the Ophel Promenade as we drive parallel to the Old City walls. We enter the Old City on foot through one of the massive gates in the 16th-century walls and pass the Western Wall excavations as we walk towards the Western Wall. This sacred Jewish site is all that remains from the 2, 000-year-old holy Jewish Temple that once stood on Temple Mount. In the Jewish Quarter, we see the Byzantine Cardo lined with columns, then we walk along a section of the Via Dolorosa, as Jesus did bearing his cross. The Via Dolorosa culminates at the Holy Sepulcher

Our 2 days with Yazid in the Holy Land was everything we had hoped for and much of it due to this terrific tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible, adapting to our needs but at the same time kept us on track. Day 1 we stuck to Old Jerusulem, but he allowed us to walk the Way of the Cross and linger where necessary. Day 2 it was Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, but he didn't mind letting us visit a local winery. Only drawback was that his car was a little tight for 4 adult passengers.

Yazid was absolutely the best ever!! He was so knowledgeable about everything. We got to do so much with him. His tour of the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, and Jericho were fabulous. Above all he was so easy to be with! Would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's a young guy and brings so much inf.

Fantastic second tour with Yazid! With a Jewish mother, an Arabic father, and himself a Christian, Yazid provided details about the historic sites we saw; when we asked him, he also give extremely insightful perspectives about the current geopolitical dynamics of the region. We enjoyed our two tours with Yazid so much that we would have done a third tour with him to Masada and the Dead Sea if our cruise ship was in port just one more day. Would absolutely recommend.

Yazid spoke excellent English, and was very professional We wanted a variation of his normal tour and asked him to take us to Oskar Schindler gravesite.He permitted us "as much time as we wanted" at the gravesite and at the churches also. I felt comfortable with this local young man, and encourage others to take a tour with him.

Yazid was amazing guide provided by Tours by Locals. He made a wonderful tour of Jerusalem for us to see all important antiquities, and avoid many tourists/buses. He had excellent English and it was a joy to listen to his historical knowledge and stories. He kept us moving at a proper pace for elderly tourists He was careful to return us to the ship on time.
