Shalom, Salaam, Bonjour, Hallo, I am happy to present myself as a professional, Humorous and passionate licensed tour guide. I made Aliyah (emigrated) from Belgium in 92' to the land of Milk & Honey, Integrated in the society as a Kibbutz member, served in the IDF marines corps and directed for many years at the Foreign Ministry professional training programs for developing countries in cooperation with UNESCO. Particularly touching and fruitful were the dialogue workshops between Israelis and Palestinians. If you decide to book me you will have to fasten you're seat-belt! Your visit to Israel will reach heights and stay inscribed in your memories as a unique experience. MY CHALLENGE: As licensed tour guide, historian and lecturer on Bible History I QUESTION and share the complexity of the past and present of this tiny piece of land who was conquered, destroyed and rebuild so many times. Proud to be familiar with (almost) every side-street, anecdote, local par-fum and melody. IF MOSES WOULD HAVE HIRED MY SERVICES, THE HEBREWS WOULDN'T CIRCLED AROUND FOR 40 YEARS before getting into the land of Canaan! MY OBJECTIVE: Let you live through an unforgettable sensation, called Israel. Looking forward to see you! MA Israel Studies, Haifa university. Unforgettable Holy Jerusalem Adventure Join us on a spirit-lifting journey through the heart of the Holy City. We'll start with a panoramic view of the city from the Mount of Olives. Don't forget your camera! Next, we'll retrace Jesus' steps on the Via Dolorosa, a scenic route through the Old City. Then, it's time for a real adventure: finding the missing Calvary! We'll explore the Holy Sepulchre, a labyrinth of history and mystery. After a bit of spiritual searching, we'll relax at the souk, haggling like pros. And finally, we'll meet King David himself (well, his tomb, anyway). Just don't bow too low!

Michel is a delightful person as well as a fabulous guide! He's a highly informed guide/historian who made each site even more memorable by adding fascinating facts and details at each historical site. Michel also introduced us to a terrific restaurant at the Jerusalem train station. I highly recommend Michel who made our visit to Israel even more memorable!
We had a fantastic day with Michel touring the old city of Jerusalem. He knew how to expertly navigate the city to avoid the crowds, which allowed us to see many sites in the day that we had with him. Michel has impressive knowledge of the city and history, and his sense of humour added a lot to his stories and the information that he shared with us. We have already recommended Michel to a friend, we highly recommend him!
Michel is a great guide and very knowledgable about history and present of Jerusalem and Israel. His explanations were exciting and well balanced with regards to the religious and political aspects. Michel is not listed as German speaking. I suggest to change this because his German is excellent. Michel, thank you for a great day in Jerusalem
