As a licensed, local private tour guide based in Jerusalem Israel I try to create private Jerusalem tours and Israel tours that include all the must see sites but leaves time to go off the beaten track to match your interests and travel pace. Each day is an opportunity to create your own experience . I work with individuals, couples, families with kids, sometimes 3 generation families touring together. I've toured with 7 & 9 year olds as well as 96 & 94 year olds and I love to make every day of touring a little different - a change of pace, a change in the order of the sites visited , a day following a theme that grows from a question someone asked the day before. Let's face it you have come for a holiday so want to enjoy but it's not hard to see that there is a lot of layers to this place. Zel was great! He was able to take me on a personalized tour taking into account that I've done a couple old city tours in Jerusalem before. As such, we covered a few basic things but with a twist or in much greater depth than I've seen before. And we also covered a few things I had never even seen before. It was a great tour, and Zel clearly knows many of the people who run or work at many of the sites we went to. I absolutely recommend Zel for anyone looking for a private tour of Jerusalem!

We were fortunate enough to have met Zel, who introduced us to the most relevant landmarks and history of Jerusalem. We only had a few hours in this magnificent city to appreciate it, and he was more than accommodating, and showing us many of the landmarks that we would have missed, had we've been on our own. My family thoroughly enjoyed Zel's super informative 'Walking Tour of Jerusalem' which we did a week ago. Zel is a charismatic and warm person, and his knowledge of Jerusalem's history was extremely impressive. From the moment we met with him, we were all utterly fascinated by the knowledge he shared with us and things really started to make sense, especially given that Jerusalem's layers of history are very complex! I can't recommend Zel enough! He was definitely not your average tour guide- stating the basics that anyone can read in a book! He has an inquisitive mind and shares so much information, it makes you want to start researching everything he has shown you and spoken about. Not only during the tour, but any other questions I had for our stay in Jerusalem, he was more than willing to answer and give suggestions. I will definitely be recommending Zel to any friends I have traveling to Israel
