This tour introduces you to Jerusalem, its four quarters and the holy sites of the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These are some of the things we could do, the idea is that this tour is personalized to your interests. We can explore the Jewish quarter, learn the story behind the Hurva synagogue and touch the Western wall, the wall closest to the Jewish temple and consequently the holiest site to Judaism. We can see the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa mosque, the third holiest site to Islam (after Mecca and Medina) and experience the Arab shuq with tastes of some of the local specialties. We can follow the path of the Via Dolorosa, visiting several churches to where Jesus was crucified and buried, today inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the holiest site to Christianity. We can explore the archaeology of Jerusalem going back thousands of years, walk underground, walk where Jesus walked, walk on the ramparts.

Extremely knowledgeable, did a great job of customizing the tour to our interests.
We were go glad to have had Shmuel as our guide around Jerusalem. We asked a thousand questions, on everything from daily life to Biblical stories to country politics and orthodox culture, and he was so intelligent and good-natured and clearly loves what he does. After we roamed around—and got lost—within the historic city the next day, we reflected on how much more we'd learned about Jerusalem by having spent the day with him. We recommend him highly to anyone wanting to make the most of their time here
Really a very good experience, Shmuel is a kind person with deep knowledge of Jerusalem and can bring you right at the center of the scene, like it is live in front of you. Great visit. Great time. Thank you
Our tour of the Old City with Shmuel was outstanding. It was my 3rd time in Jerusalem, and I'm amazed at how much I saw and learned that I didn't know before. He was kind, on time, patient (3 kids in tow!), and exceedingly knowledgeable. We took the all day tour and he kept us exploring and learning the entire time. But, we were not rushed. He patiently waited while we took all the time we needed at a site, and answered our myriad questions as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Shmuel.
My friend and I enjoyed the personalized tour by Shmuel. Shmuel is very knowledgeable and knows how to tell a story! Most importantly, he is a very friendly person and a pleasure to spend time with. I would recommend Shmuel for personalized tours for sure.

In general, this is a walking tour but depending on the itinerary we may take taxis, buses or the Jerusalem light rail. If the client has a car, we may use it.
