In this tour we will visit key Christian sites where most of the important denominations commemorate the core events of Jesus in Jerusalem. Our tour will comprehend a visit of the places where Catholics, Protestants, Evangelicals, Christian Orthodox, Copts, and Armenians among other denominations venerate Jesus' ministry. We'll learn about the different Christian beliefs in the old city of Jerusalem by visiting among others sites: Upper room (last supper), Zion Gate, Via Dolorosa, The Holy Sepulcher and the Garden tomb (most visited by the evangelicals). Why do Christians have different beliefs about the place where Jesus was buried? Why are there so many different groups and different traditions among them? Let's find the answer together. We'll visit and analyze the two places where it is believed Jesus was crucified. Time allowing I will show you a hidden gem, a unique site in the Old City which regular tours don't take you. A tour to increase your knowledge of the biblical sites of Jerusalem.
We will see: - Jaffa Gate - Christian Church from outside - Pass by the St. James church in the Armenian quarter - Zion Gate - Cenacle - Dormition Abbey - Via Dolorosa - Church of the Holy Sepulchre - Christian quarter - Garden tomb - We can end either at Jaffa Gate, New Gate, Damascus Gate, - Garden tomb or the Church of the Holy Sepulcher depending on the tourists interests.
