This is a very popular tour and one of the classic tours in Israel, a day trip from Jerusalem. We spend a very full day beginning with a visit to Herod's mountain fortress at Masada, then hiking in the Ein Gedi nature reserve to a series of waterfalls and end with a float in the Dead Sea, a unique experience not to be missed. Travel in air-conditioned comfort through the Judean desert to these three amazing sites. For those who are interested in doing more, you can choose from Wadi Qelt, baptismal site on Jordan river, mosaics at Inn of Good Samaritan, Qumran, botanical garden or longer hike at En Gedi, sinkholes, photography and extend the day trip to an overnight in the area.
Tour of Herod's palace/fortress at Masada archaeological park. Hike/walk Nahal David in Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. - We will have an opportunity to swim/splash in natural pools under a waterfall. - Hopefully, we will see the animals that live in the reserve. Float at one of Dead Sea beaches. Locations are great for taking photographs.
